Lavender essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of flowering herbs.
Lavender is perhaps the most used herb for good sleep. Lavender essential oil calms, helps with insomnia, lowers blood pressure, relieves headaches.
Lavender essential oil is also considered the most versatile of all essential oils. Due to its analgesic, antiseptic and antibiotic properties, lavender oil is valuable in the treatment of colds , coughs , flu – the most effective treatment is the inhalation of water vapor.
Lavender essential oil relieves menstrual pain.
Thanks to its soothing, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory action, lavender essential oil is useful for skin problems: injuries, burns, reactions to insect bites. Lavender essential oil is especially valuable in the treatment of acne: it stops the growth of bacteria that cause skin infections and at the same time soothes the skin, helping to regulate excessive sebum production.
Lavender essential oil can be applied directly to the skin, 1-2 drops per affected area. Also suitable for small children (newborns), but always use diluted oil for children.
Lavender essential oil is effective as a natural repellant and moth repellent .
USAGE :
- AROMATIZATION OF ROOM – add 3-5 drops to water in an aroma lamp.
- EXTERNAL USE – for massage, dilute 1-1.5% of essential oil in adult base oil, i.e. 2-4 drops per 10 ml of base vegetable oil (0.5% for children and adolescents from 6 to 12 years old and 0.2-0.3% for children under 6 years old.
- BATH – Dilute 3-5 drops in one tablespoon of salt or warm milk/honey.
- In COSMETIC PRODUCTS – 1-3 drops.
