Basil essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from fresh basil leaves. Basil as a spice is very well known in our European region, but is native to Asia and has been used in Indian traditional medicine for centuries. Its characteristic aroma awakens appetite and joy.

Basil essential oil is used for headaches, migraines and indigestion. Like rosemary, it is called an excellent headdress, that is, it has a cleansing effect on the brain, helps to reduce mental stress, clears the mind and strengthens the nervous system. Recommended for congestion and nervous exhaustion.

Basil essential oil helps with respiratory infections and febrile illnesses. Relieves cough spasms. The oil acts as a natural means of strengthening the body’s immunity.

USAGE:

• AROMATIZATION OF ROOM – add 3-5 drops to water in an aroma lamp.
• EXTERNAL USE – for massage, dilute 1-1.5% of essential oil in adult base oil, i.e. 2-4 drops per 10 ml of base vegetable oil (0.5% for children and adolescents from 6 to 12 years old and 0.2-0.3% for children under 6 years old.
• BATH – Dilute 3-5 drops in one tablespoon of salt or warm milk/honey.
• In COSMETIC PRODUCTS – 1-3 drops.
