Citronella essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from this 1 meter tall fragrant herb that grows wild but is also cultivated mainly in India and Sri Lanka, as well as other tropical regions. Its smell is strong, sharply lemony.

Citronella essential oil relieves migraine headaches, helps fight stress, relieves anxiety and improves mood.

Citronella essential oil is used for its antiseptic properties to disinfect and heal small wounds on the skin, helps to remove body odor and is therefore added to deodorants and body sprays. It has anticonvulsant and antibacterial action. Helps reduce fever.

The most distinctive property of citronella essential oil is its repellent effect , it helps repel mosquitoes and insects. Essential oil of citronella is the most effective natural repellant .

USAGE:

• AROMATIZATION OF ROOM – add 3-5 drops to water in an aroma lamp.
• EXTERNAL USE – for massage, dilute 1-1.5% of essential oil in adult base oil, i.e. 2-4 drops per 10 ml of base vegetable oil (0.5% for children and adolescents from 6 to 12 years old and 0.2-0.3% for children under 6 years old.
• BATH – Dilute 3-5 drops in one tablespoon of salt or warm milk/honey.
• In COSMETIC PRODUCTS – 1-3 drops.
